Heart blanket

I made this one with a weird stitch. it's almost like the checkered stitch but it's not. All double crochet throw blanket. Then I added a heart pattern.
First time doing this stitch. took me 6 months to finish.

Owl Baby blanket

I loved making the owl stitch now that was fun

Big granny stitch blanket

I thought the owl was going to be difficult to make yet it's so easy. You just make a circle and go from there. Two big circle eyes with buttons on them. I finished this in November 2014

First double crochet zig zag

I was having issues at the time making zig zags so I used the stitch double crochet on this. 11 stitches for each post. Baby blanket

Halloween blanket

This one was fun to make

granny square blanket with a pumpkin 

As you can see I used three colors in this simple granny square. The pumpkin was a circle then DC 1, DC 2 around 10 slip stitch DC 10 slip stitch leaves a tail. I added green 5 DC in the slip stitch tie off

5 by four squares. It wasn't very big more for a doll than a baby blanket

I used granny square pattern and 2 different checker stitches

For the checkered I chain 22 DC in second chain DC 3 in the next 3 sc chain 1 repeat r2 ace chains DC 3 3 chains  repeat

R3 sc 2 DC 3 in between cluster of three sc2 dc3 in cluster repeat

You should have 4 x 5

The other checkered I chained 17. DC 3 in the next chains change color dc3 repeat across

5 x5 squares

Blankets and ponchos

I made this yellow and black poncho for my aunt

I made this green and black poncho for Chris. Baby teddy bear doll blanket.

I made this granny square red and burgundy blanket for Chris. What a cute little turkey.

I made this butterfly blanket and pink/burgundy poncho for Robyn. I had ran out of yarn for the butterfly so the colors of white didn't match up.

Homemade dolls

I copied my aunt Ella Mae McGee's doll pattern yet I didn't get the body of the doll just right. I tried to make several to see if I could copy the doll she made for me.
They didn't sell like I hoped they would so I scrapped them.

Crochet scarves

The kids was complaining about scarves so I made two. I don't like these very much due to many spaces in them.

One is a purple burgundy, the other is green and blue

Black, White and tan zig zag

Very First Zig Zag and I did a horrible job for my aunt wanted no border and I sewed on a ribbon border. I felt horrible after.

Plastic Canvas

I went to Ben's crafts in Roy to find a new pattern and found a aluminum foil, wax paper, paper towels and wrap tool to use. I made this by hand and have to say it was a pain to make. It did break eventually and I had to throw it out but kept some of the pieces for later projects. I loved it and hated it at the same time.
