Owl towel holders

Not bad for starters yes, no pattern just a photo to go by.

I used I hook and did two granny squares. Folded one in half and put a loop on top.
Almost done just need the nose
Pink and heather grey
Navy and medium grey

Shocking pink and white
Purple and White

I went to Walmart to find the beads and hoops couldn't find them so I had to go to Joann's and got those there. For the girl owls I put a bow at the bottom.
Nine lines for each square, two circles 5 lines and then glued the eyes and a few other things around the eyes. The small hoops I used cardboard and or old dvd disks. The dvd disks are stronger than the cardboard. Not sure which one will last longer. I tested the cardboard with DVD  disks and the cardboard won so I am using cardboard instead.

Again no pattern, found an original towel owl on line but that one had 5 or 4 lines on two granny squares didn't like it.

Took me a two days to make.

Going to my cousin Dennis.

Granny 6/6 squares twin afghan with letter D

Medium heather grey and Soft Navy
I will add more photos in a few days

I added a border of navy shells.
When sewing this together I used the shell stitch which makes the blanket have an invisible line. This was a new way to stitch them together. I found it time consuming and easy to make.
Medium Gray squares I had made:76 medium gray
Navy Squares I had made for the letter D: 32 squares
Regular Gray: 6 Just to throw in the mix to make it look different.

yarn dolls

Finished Yarn Dolls. I try to make each doll different. Some may have long arms and legs some may have short it all depends on the doll.

I made ruffles on the front of this one not sure I like it. Colors are purple and dark pink. She also has a angel necklace on her. I hated her dress so I redid her entire outfit with the same colors and added wings.

The blue one is traditional with a purse.

This one I have the outfit done and the hat has a heart and bunny ears on it. The dress is traditional.
Sorry I will not give out the pattern due to this yarn doll being vintage and being one of a kind.
Made this angel doll for Carrie Parker

Here is the fixed purple one

I gave this one also to Carrie Parker
\This one is a bunny doll

 Yellow and white
