Trying a new design this time. I found this free pattern online. At first it was going to become an afghan but after getting to line 10 with hook H it started to hurt my hands. So I ended up putting a border and ended the project. I may try this again only with a bigger hook.

I put the pink and purple two stars together and added stuffing. Gave it to Robyn

I made two hats one is ocean and grey

not sure I like how I sewn on the eyes but the hat is kinda cute to me.

Gray yellow zig zag

I have started a new project. My mom wants this project. I asked her. I have never worked with Gray before so this is coming out really pretty. More than I expected.

Bright yellow and heather gray. It looks much better in person than camera.

Working in the back loops. Single crochet 9, three in 10, then single crochet 9, skip 2, single crochet 9, three in 10. repeat all the way across.
Pretty simple. I did 10 lines of each color.

Purple Queen Crocodile Afghan

Second time doing the queen afghan. It was easy to start but I had forgotten how to do the posts for the crocodile stitches. I went online and previous afghans and remembered. This queen afghan is bigger than the red,white, black one.

Pattern:
Chain 221.
Sc in second chain and sc 6 or 5 lines.
7th line Dc 6 times, chain 1, skip 2, dc in same spot 2 times. Repeat across until you get to the end chain 1, dc 6 times, chain 1
8th line sc 6 times, Two posts do the following: in first post dc 4, chain 1, dc 4 repeat until end and sc 6 times chain 3
Repeat 7-8 until you get to line 110
Repeat 1-6 and then clean up your work by making an edge on both sides not the bottom or top just the sides to make them even.
The only thing I dislike about this blanket it's time consuming. Last blanket took 1 yr 7 months. this one so far has taken 3 months.

Claire La'bounty (Robyn's friend) had asked me to make one for her only using Purple and black.
I was only able to get to line 67 due to Claire not having any more money to supply the yarn. I gave her the blanket 03-20-2017. If she asks I may finish it. Oh well her choice and not my problem anymore. Pretty and heavy blanket.

C2C graphs

Not sure if I should make this a blanket.
So far I have three squares done and starting on the fourth. Amethyst, light blue, paddy green and yellow.

I found a butterfly. It is bigger than I thought for it will fit two heart squares in this center piece. I had a hard time finding the same size as the hearts. I may have to add a border to fit three as you can see in the photo.

Finished, I then put it on a cardboard background and hung it up in my kitchen.

First time doing a graph butterfly. I used Orchard, white and ocean yarn.

I finished the butterfly C2C, I didn't do any more hearts and left the butterfly alone. I put a shell edge on the butterfly.

Big Blue

I am okay with this project. Another C2C blanket with 118 lines. It's the biggest C2C I have made yet.

I gave this one to Robyn's Friend Jeremiah.

Hats and scarf

Making a Christmas gift for my daughters friend.
So far I have finished the hat.
I knitted the hat.
Crocheted the ears.

I look funny in this hat but........I hope she likes.

The ears I interchanged. The hat is a little tight around the head but the rest is a good fit. 

I am putting add on's to the scarf

Instead of white I am going to alternate these green and purple

Added two paws on each side. I love how big the scarf came out but not sure I like the paws. I used light purple, paddy green and amethyst.

No one wants this one so I scrapped it and used the materials for something else

Pink Zig Zag

I am not as fast as my friend is where she does 1 zig zag a month but it's something to do.

Here is my latest zig zag. I am using, light blue, white, pearl pink, red and perfect pink.

Chain 202 with any hook size I am using J
Skip 2, sc in back loops 9 times, skip 2 sc 9 sc three for the top of the peak, sc 9, skip 2, sc 9 repeat across and do this till you get the desired height. This will give you 10 peaks. The edges you will miss 2 and it won't be even on the ends which makes a pretty border. Some go back and fill it in with a sc border.
In each section I did 10 lines then I did 6 single lines. Or you can do all one color and make the middle 6 lines or what ever your preference. This zig zag blanket has unlimited colors and sizes.
Some zig zags they used 11 sc less peaks.
So many different patterns for zig zags it's not funny. I like 211 pattern the best.
