Studio ghibli characters

 I haven't posted on here as of late due to bring forgetful or something. Here is my latest.  I made this full afghan for Ralleigh and Robyn.

I had a hard time putting this together cause I literally had to play Tetris with it. Lol.  Finished in 2 months.  Can you name them?

African Flower

 So recently I found a pattern for the African Flower hippo.

I mess up my first try which is normal. On the left is my messed up flower and I started over and got it right on the right side. Still searching for a free hippo african flower pattern.

Pony Beads Mermaid key chains

 So I am always searching for new things to make and I found this online and copied it instead of buying the pattern plus they had some you tube video's on this so if interested in finding on how to make these. Go to you Youtube.com and put mermaid pony bead pattern. This way you don't have to spend money on something so cute and easy to make.

I have made three of these so far.

This first time making this I had major issues with the tail. Now that I have the hang of it. It is super easy and fast.

I added tooth picks to keep her from bending and making the lines straight. I will go back and cut them off and glue them in so they don't poke anyone. I will also trim and finish this off.  Like I said I had a hard time with the tail but as soon as I figured this one out it was super easy.

I put a pink bead for the mouth. that is optional and I am not sure I like it.

I plan on making as many as I can with my stash of materials until I run out.

Dream catcher

 I have been working on dream catchers of late and I kept trying different webs for the catchers and they kept coming out nasty to me. So I found online these types of catchers and made three.

I think they came out pretty nice. Now I just need to add feathers and a noose and ta da.

Another one I have been working on was a mouse dream catcher. I also have a snow man dream catcher.

Here is the unfinished mouse.

I added three noose ones for the bottom instead of two.

I plan on getting a bow and some feathers for it and maybe add some more pom poms.

Tissue Box cover in Jade

I am almost done with this tissue box for Chris. I start three days ago Monday the 6th of July.

I made this with the color of Jade. Chris wanted a bottom to this tissue box which is a first for me to do 6 sides.

I think it came out awesome. This pattern does make the project go slow but the results are AMAZING.

C2C King size NERV Afghan

Alrighty then. I am doing a first time king size or bigger C2C afghan. Now those who know what NERV is I won't have to explain but for those who don't. NERV: is Neon Genesis Evangelion an anime series a special organization that combats Angels.

This is the pattern I am using  Background is black and I will use a border red with shells when done

This one I started on red.

I have finished the V and the R and almost done with 3 corners. EXCITED

I am making this bigger due to it being a small blanket I added more to the bottom and now working on the sides. 

I am so happy that this king is done.

Key Ring Flip Flops

I found this on one of my friends post.

Here we go.
Hook 3 mm. I used 3.75 mm. I also tried I hook. Not sure I liked the 9 hook style but it did come out cute. I used the I hook on the purple and navy shoe. I used the 3.75 mm on both blue and green.

Make 2
Chain 9
1: SC 3 in same stitch, 3 sc, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 7 dc, 2 dc, 1 hdc 3 sc, slip stitch.
2: Chain 1, 2 sc in the next 6, sc 7, 2 sc in next 5  sc 7, 2 sc, slip stitch.
3: Chain 1, (3times) sc, 2sc, 1sc, 2sc, 1sc, 2sc, 7 sc, (5 times) sc, 2sc, sc, 2sc, sc, 2 sc, sc, 2sc, sc, 2sc, 7 sc. Slip stitch.


For bow on top of first sole
Slip stitch on 11. Chain 8 slip stitch on 11
do this four times
5: chain 4, go around four loops, sc, loop, sc, loop sc loop. Slip stitch, hide tail. Then go around on top of sole and slip stitch around. End of flip flop make a chain 4 slip stitch in same stitch and go around till done. Hide tail.

Owl towel holders

Not bad for starters yes, no pattern just a photo to go by.

I used I hook and did two granny squares. Folded one in half and put a loop on top.

Almost done just need the nose

I went to Walmart to find the beads and hoops couldn't find them so I had to go to Joann's and got those there. For the girl owls I put a bow at the bottom.

Nine lines for each square, two circles 5 lines and then glued the eyes and a few other things around the eyes. The small hoops I used cardboard and or old dvd disks. The dvd disks are stronger than the cardboard. Not sure which one will last longer. I tested the cardboard with DVD  disks and the cardboard won so I am using cardboard instead.

Again no pattern, found an original towel owl on line but that one had 5 or 4 lines on two granny squares didn't like it.

Took me a two days to make.
